You can add or remove a car in My car (Garage) via the carsales website or app. Adding a car gives you insights into its current resale value and estimated future value.
Add a car on the carsales website
Hover over your name in the top-right corner and select My car
Select Add car.
Enter the car’s registration number and the state the car is located in
You can also search using the car’s make and model.
Choose your car from the matching options.
Select View full specs if you need more information to identify it.
Enter the car’s current odometer reading. This helps provide a more accurate valuation.
Check the details are correct, then select Save.
Add a car in the carsales app
In the carsales app, sign into your account.
Select your name or initial in the top left corner to open your Account.
Under My car, select Add my car
Enter the car’s registration number and the state the car is located in
You can also search using the car’s make and model.
Choose your car from the matching options.
Select View full specs if you need more information to identify it.
Enter the car’s current odometer reading. This helps provide a more accurate valuation.
Check the details are correct, then select Save.
Can I add more than one car to My car?
Yes. You can add multiple cars to My car, but only cars that belong to you.
Make sure each car’s details are correct so the insights and updates you receive are as accurate as possible.
Remove a car on the carsales webiste
Hover over your name and scroll down to My car
Find the car you want to remove.
Select the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the car.
Select Remove.
Remove a car on the carsales app
Open the carsales app and sign in to your account.
Tap your initial at the top left corner.
Under My car, select your car you want to remove.
Select the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Select Remove.
