How do I add my car to the carsales Garage?

Adding your car and its odometer reading to your carsales Garage unlocks exclusive insights into your car’s resale value and predicted future value. Plus you will receive extra carsales member perks such as tyre offers. Find out more on becoming a carsales member here. 

Add a car to carsales Garage on desktop   

1. Sign in to your carsales account. 
2. Hover over your name at the top right corner of the page and select Garage from the drop down menu. 
   
   
   
   
3. Once in Garage click on the Add car button and follow the prompts to select the make, model, build year, fuel type, transmission, drive type and badge of your car. You will be presented with options of vehicles that match your selections, select your model from here. You can also select View full specs for more details on the vehicle specifications.  
   
   
   
   
4. Next, add your current odometer reading, VIN, rego and expiry. It’s important this information is correct and up to date as it is used to help provide you with the most accurate data and insights on your car.  
5. Then select Save. Look out for your confirmation email to the address linked to your account with details on what you have unlocked. 
   
   
   

Add a car to carsales Garage via App 

1. Go to the carsales App and select the Account tab located at the bottom of your screen. 
2. Sign into your carsales account (if you haven’t already). 
3. Next select the Garage. 
4. Once in Garage click on the Add car button and follow the prompts to select the make, model, build year, fuel type, transmission, drive type and badge of your car. You will be presented with options of vehicles that match your selections, select your model from here. Can I have more than one car in the carsales Garage?  

Yes you can. You are able to add multiple cars to your carsales Garage, however ensure it’s yours and the information you provide is correct so we can send you the most accurate insights and updates
