When you have transferred all your funds into your carsales wallet, arrange a time to meet the seller at a secure location.
We recommend releasing the funds in person at pick-up, after:
Performing a final inspection of the car
Checking the seller’s identity document (e.g. photo ID)
Only release the funds when you’re ready to complete the sale. The release is final and cannot be reversed through carsales.
