Contact the seller: Message or call them to agree on price, test drive, deposit and any other important details.
Make an offer through carsales by going to the ad page, or from your Saved Cars
The seller can accept, decline, negotiate further or counter-offer.
Offer sent: Now it’s time to add funds to your carsales wallet. Once your ID has been verified you’ll be prompted to add funds. We don’t charge any fees for this service,
How to add funds to your carsales wallet
Choose the method that works for you:
PayTo® Funds usually arrive in seconds.* Available for payments up to $20,000.
PayID® (Recommended)Transfer using your unique PayID. Usually clears within 24 hours.
Bank transfer Use BSB and account number. May take up to 3 business days.*
If you’re making multiple transactions, or a large transaction, to your carsales wallet, giving your bank the heads up can help speed up the transfer.
Your bank might impose their own daily limits per method. Please check with them if you encounter limit issues.
