All carsales Approved cars are:

  • Independently inspected by RedBook Inspect and rated 4 to 5 stars1
  • Less than 10 years old and have travelled under 160,000 km2
  • Road-tested by a professional

How do I know if a vehicle is carsales Approved?

Finding carsales Approved vehicles is simple. These cars will show up automatically in your carsales search results so look out for the carsales Approved badge over the listings thumbnail.

To search specifically for carsales Approved cars, add the carsales Approved Vehicle filter to your search:

Step 1:

In the search filters, open the “Certified / inspected options” under “Car condition”.

Step 2:

Navigate to “Certified” providers and select “carsales Approved Vehicle” from the list.

Tap search to view carsales Approved vehicles

Where can I see the inspection report?

A copy of the inspection report is usually available to view for free under the “Vehicle reports” tab located under the “Car details” on a carsales Approved listing.
