It can be frustrating if you've tried contacting a seller by phone or have sent an enquiry and with no response back.
It may be that they are a shift worker, have already sold the car and haven't had a chance to remove their ad (in which case we have an automatic expiry period which will remove the ad) or they don't feel comfortable with responding to you (especially to interstate buyers). There could be many other reasons too.
All phone calls, SMS and emails go directly to the seller and carsales does not contact sellers on behalf of buyers. At this point, it’s up to the seller to get back in touch with you and if you've waited long enough, it's probably best to move on to another car.
We recommend phoning the seller for a prompt response as some people don't check their emails as regularly and may take some time to respond.
