If you can't find your ad published online and it is appearing as ‘Custom Status’ or 'Unfinished’ in your ad manager, then it might be because we couldn't find the correct vehicle details to match your car when the ad was created.
If your ad is in Custom status, our system is unable to verify your vehicle’s details. This usually occurs when you are unable to find the correct make and model details within our database and select the 'Can't find your car?' button. This takes you to a page where you are able to enter all of your vehicle details manually. Our database may not have your specific car details if it is a kit car, custom car or imported vehicle. This information is sent to RedBook for verification.
While the RedBook team are verifying your vehicle’s details, your ad will be displayed as ‘Unfinished’ in your ad manager. It can take between 1-4 business days for this process to be completed and your vehicle details added to the system.
You will receive a confirmation email once this process is complete and your ad has been approved. Once the details are confirmed, your ad will appear online.
