You can send and receive messages from buyers and sellers through your carsales account. Your conversations are available on the carsales website and in the carsales app.
This is a great way to keep all of your communication in one place and you can view it anywhere, anytime.
Send and receive messages on the carsales website
Sign into your carsales account.
Select the speech bubble at the top of the page. You can also hover over your name and select Messages.
Select the conversation you want to view or reply to.
Type your message in the text box.
Select the arrow to send your message.

Open the carsales app and sign in to your account.
Select the Inbox at the bottom of the screen.
Select Messages at the top of the screen.
Select the conversation you want to view or reply to.
Enter your message in the text box.
Select the arrow to send your message.
A Read receipt will appear when the other person has viewed your message.
Why can’t I find a message?
If you received a message notification but can’t find the message, you may be signed in to a different carsales account.

The message may also have been removed by our Trust & Safety team because of suspicious activity from the sender. Visit our scam information and advice to learn more.
