How do I upload and edit my photos?

You can upload, remove or rotate photos in your carsales ad at any time.

Uploading or editing photos on the carsales website

  1. Sign in to your carsales account.

  2. Hover over your name and select Manage your ad or draft.

  3. Find the ad you want to update and select Manage ad.

  4. Select Edit ad, then go to the photos section.

  5. Choose what you want to do:

    • To upload a photo, select the camera icon. Choose the photo from your computer, then select Open.

    • To remove a photo, select the rubbish bin icon.

    • To rotate a photo, select the rotate icon.

    • To reorder a photo, click and drag each photo into the position you want.

  6. When you’re finished, select Save changes.

Uploading or editing photos on the carsales app

  1. Open the app and sign in to your carsales account.

  2. Select Sell at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select Manage ad.

  4. Choose the ad you want to update.

  5. Select Edit.

  6. Go to the photo section.

  7. Choose what you want to do:

    • To upload a photo, select the camera icon. Choose the photo you want from your phone, then select Open.

    • To remove a photo, select the rubbish bin icon.

    • To rotate a photo, select the rotate icon.

    • To reorder a photo, tap and hold a photo, then drag it into the position you want.

  8. Select Save.

When will my changes appear?

Changes to your ad may take up to two business hours to appear on the live ad.

New and recently edited ads are sent to our Customer Service team for approval.


Why can’t I find my ad?

If you can't find your ad in your account, you may be signed in to a different carsales account.
