While funds are in the PayProtect holding account, you can request a full refund. The seller will need to approve of this on the PayProtect page to confirm that you have not received the vehicle. This will then release the funds back to you. You will receive the full amount you paid including transaction fees and card fees back to the card or account you paid with.
We also know that negotiations happen. So if you and the seller have agreed to a final sale price less than the amount the buyer has paid into PayProtect, the buyer will be refunded the remaining amount to their original payment method (credit card or BPAY)
